Dear Tropical Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope this message finds you and your family well and enjoying a restful and joyful summer break. A special welcome goes out to our new Toucans and their families—thank you for choosing Tropical Elementary. We are so excited to have you join our vibrant school community!

I’m incredibly proud to share that Tropical Elementary has once again been awarded a grade of “A” by the State of Florida for the 2024–2025 school year. While we celebrate this achievement, what makes us most proud is the teamwork, commitment, and heart of our amazing students, staff, parents, and community. It is your dedication that keeps our students moving forward and helps them thrive.

We know the beginning of the school year can bring a mix of excitement and nerves. Our team is ready to partner with you to support your children as they dive into new subjects, build friendships, and grow both academically and emotionally. This year, we’re embracing the theme: “Tropical Toucan All-Stars: Lacing Up for Success!”

We will be focusing on both individual growth and team spirit throughout the year, helping our students become confident, collaborative, and future ready. Our first monthly theme in August and September will be Team Spirit, and we’ll be sharing fun and meaningful activities soon!

We are so excited to begin this new chapter with you and your children. Let’s lace up, lift each other up, and make this an unforgettable year of learning, laughter, and success!
