DHH Class - Hard of Hearing and Oral Interpretation
Tropical Elementary School is home to one of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs, specializing in "Auditory Oral Learning" (Reading Lip Movement), in Broward County. This is a specialized program where the focus is on spoken language and strengthening auditory skills. Teachers specialize in instruction through multisensory strategies in an acoustically appropriate environment for optimum progress and success.
